RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Regarding a buyout... The FED talks. Talk is now tool number 1, 2, and 3. The FED is painted into a corner. Last I knew, they STILL hadn't actually tapered yet. I don't think they can taper to zero. I don't think they can raise three times. I'm not sure they can raise once. We'll see how markets react when the FED actually does something other than talk.
Their only exit strategy is to pray inflation numbers reverse so they can justify less hawkish talk. My best guess is that they will end up trying to follow through on taper and maybe even a hike or two. Bond yields will continue to climb and the stock market will take a beating. Then they'll have to reverse course and metals will fly, pretty much regardless of what inflation is doing at that point.
If I'm right, the biggest, smartest money sees it coming and they're accumulating physical, not paper.
