RE:Buy by PALA and OTHERS !

RE:Buy by PALA and OTHERS !:"Not  sure the Retail market will jump in to buy."

Realistically, why should they?  I mean now, at this particular moment.  I see no reason.  NCU isn't expected to announce any important news other than reaching and maintaining full production and that would be great.

There is no reason to believe that there will be any major speculator move into metals, with uncertainty over Covid, the Fed raising IR’s, inflation impact on the economy, etc.  No doubt the Fed will raise rates as the projected 7% inflation will spook the monetary authorities.

We all tend to be ethnocentric when it comes to money, but the global economy still exists and financial developments here, sometimes have a critical impact there.  I’m thinking right now about food costs.  Most of us have plenty to eat, but some were just hanging on.  Food prices will affect the consequence of poverty here in the developed nations, but with mining’s international nature we must also look to the effect of increased hunger overseas.  We have already seen a reduction in yield for staple crops in areas effected by extreme weather and climate change, and hunger doesn’t take long to develop, we could see indication of increased food instability in terms of social conflict as early as this spring.

The demand for copper will increase gradually as conversion to E/V, solar; but focus on production will earnestly begin when a major issues a force majeure due to climate change’s social or weather events.  One thing for certain the news will come to many as a surprise.
