RE:Ban on open pit is finally removed & the SAU steadily tanksGood question. I note that SAU shares short on Nov 30 were 111. Then on Dec 15 it was 23,229 and then on Dec 31 they jumped to 830,749. Normally, even this kind of increase should not move the needle that much but with the insanely low volume its easy to push the share price around temporarily. But that is true on the upside as well.
I hope everyone followed my trusty advice to always sell a wee bit on a pop after the open pit news. I, for once, did not, sadly. But I've added more here at 11.5 and 12 recently and I'm happy to wait. Yes, of course news from the company would be welcome but I don't think we absolutely need that to move up from here.
