Nooo. I used to work with a Day T company 3yr. Seen what the Canadian D traders do.
Understand the Canadian Day T companies also have clients, traders World Wide. 

When Nasdaq starts trading, Day T in China, Hong K, Europe, Austr, Middle East are
at their computers trading away. 
A Day T company with TSX/TME exchange trading access will, can affect such.  $$$$

Keep in mind fluctuation in ALL stocks is inevitable not just Tech. Look what happened to oil 2020 when selling prices went NEGative. That was 1st time in history ...

Marijuana tanked.
