Thanks westcoast.

I think you propose a likely scenario. It is the simple explanation and the simple explanation is often correct.

Perhaps the marginal (tail that wags the dog) investor is unwittingly and unknowingly moving the price at this point. That is after all the way the market is set up to work. NCU is speculative due to many factors which will mean either failure or success depending on how those roll out. The price of copper is a big one in that scenario.

To the extent that it is normal market activity that is taking place, then my visualization is that of a flat baking pan with a little water on it. Everyone is watching for a tilt. As soon as it tilts a little the (spec money, water, etc) rushes to the other side. Yes, this is the same as saying that the stock is simply leveraged to production results, cost and news thereof, which in turn, just means it is volatile and could explode upward or drop to a dime.

Thanks for the posts. I guess the issue comes down to this question: who is selling at this price and time, given we expect (with good reasons based on the company NRs) that production will be growing "soon". We can imagine why people would be buying. Why would people be selling?

Purchasers at .60 are now selling at .74?

That does not make much sense to me, but it may be correct.

It is the selling over the last few weeks that has kept the price down.
