RE:RE:Trans Alta's turn

RE:RE:Trans Alta's turnMaybe the windfarm is insured. So the damage would then be limited to the revenue loss.

--------------

I posted the US offshore auction coming up. Just wondering if Northland would be interested in submitting a bid. An opportunity may exist.

The new rules upset some of the bigger developers. I assume like Orsted, Siemens and Iberdrola. The cluster model and the synergies with cost savings, will not work, so might dissuade the larger developers from bidding.

Also incentives will be handed out for using US built blades, foundations and turbines. So for example, if Siemens and Vestas turbine makers are to compete, they will have to lower their prices.

Anyway, it's very early in the evolution of the offshore industry in the US. Time will tell.
