One weary investor to another Maybe there's hope yet. Nickel prices need to stay at this level for a few years and Sherritt needs to pay down its debts, execute this de-bottle-neck project well and within budget, perhaps put some of its R&D to use.. not terribly far fetched that the ship could be making a slow turn around.
Share prices do some weird things. Sometimes the market sees no value, no value, for years and then all of a sudden 'BAM' there's value as if it was conjured up out of the pixie dust of the shattered ruins of investor hopes and dreams.
I've had a fair chunk riding on this since 2019 (60k). Based my buy in on seeing a low in nickel prices and thought I would get more bang investing in a company. I've seen it nearly wiped out and back again. Luckily I made other gambles that have paid off well... I should of sold and put it to use elsewhere but something keeps me wanting to see it through. I think to sell now would be to give up on the turn-around too early. It needs to run for a couple years at these prices.
