My trading strategy is not that simple.
TAAT has been a very profitable trader for investors who are able to recognize the signs that the SP is in or about to go into a pullback like TAAT did on August 27, October 15 and November 30 and when it started to rally like it did on October 4, November 26 and the most recent time on January 10.
You have to understand TA and how to read the chart to make my strategy work.
So
I buy during a rally when the SP is rising and sell when the chart tells me the rally is ending and the SP is going down. I don't go all-in as soon as I see the signs a rally is underway. I average in during a rally so I buy when the SP is moving up and exit and usually I average out when the SP starts moving lower when I think a rally is ending.
My strategy can't predict news that could affect the SP but it beats guessing and it sure beats a buy and hold strategy for a volatile stock like TAAT. The SP went down 50% from the August 27 high and I avoided that loss.
Not every trade is a winner but it sure beats a buy and hold strategy.
