BlackRock Municipal Income Trust (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from federal income taxes. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its managed assets in investments the income from which is exempt from federal income tax (except that the interest may be subject to the alternative minimum tax). The Fund may invest directly in securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives. The Fund's investment policies provide that it invests at least 80% of its total assets in investment grade quality municipal obligations issued by or on behalf of states, territories and possessions of the United States and their political subdivisions, agencies or instrumentalities, each of which pays interest that, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes. Its investment adviser is BlackRock Advisors, LLC.

We were at $8 prior to the Q2 sales miss, the slide would have likely corrected back upwards if it were not for that.  The capitial raise at $3.84 was responded to in the typical way which is to see the sp drop below the amt of the cap raise which broke the 52 week low at the time... that was a brillant move by whoever came up with that one... idiot... then we had that bogus tabloid story that dropped up below the $2.00 range.

if you track the news against the shareprice you can often see what motivated investors and traders to make the trades they are making.

Like i said.. the SP is not the company, there are many factors in play here


True that SP is not the company but the SP defines if you drown .
SP is everything and speaks LOUDER than any s*** company.
The SP decides if we are going to be rich or poor right.
THE SP SPEAKS VOLUMES..
