This is why I used the word amateurs and allowance money,  just playing games, trying to make a few nickels shorting an already beaten down stock.

or hoping to shake the tree of some shares to buy lower.

CVX is not going to zero , not getting bought by Lafarge, not buying back shares,  just growing revenue when movement restrictions end, supply chain issues improve and projects get started.
