CORPORATE CULTURE AT IAMGOLD IS IN TRANSITIONI’ve spent a life time working in the mining industry with some of the best mining executives, and I can assure you that the newly elected leader will not tolerate these straggling mining executives on the BOD.
Daniella Dimitrov is in a position to apply so much pressure on these characters that they will have no choice but to follow in the footsteps of the previous CEO and step down from their positions and also resign from BOD. In plain English, their days are numbered and I expect more departures before the next Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Giselle, please don’t waste your time hoping to garner enough votes to ousts these incompetent mining executives. For the past ten years, we’ve seen the annual folly of the voting process and the astounding voting results, in my opinion; this part of the corporate system is broken!!
Daniella Dimitrov, is no push over mining executive, she has been given a mandate to turn things around, the corporate culture at IAMGOLD is in transition, and I can assure you that the atmosphere in the boardroom is going to be intense (putting it mildly) if you don’t toe the line of the new leader- there’s no place to hide- departures are definitely coming….
