At the end of the season - sometiems during the season - something needs to be doen and quite often a good coach is let go. Gotta shake things up - and it starts at the top.
A change in confidence, motivation, energy and getting back to basics can turn things around if there's a decent team to begin with.
So good or bad - SSL needs to take the responsibility for the performance of the team - and either resign and be terminated. Questionable decisions, garbled unfocused strategy, helter skelter is not a game plan. Time to try something new - that's just how it works.
And I'm not saying SSL is good or bad or that Hexo is a mid tier team - but then again, SSL IS bad and while Hexo will make the playoffs - they should after 8 season, but don't expect them to be there for the second round.
Go Leafs
I have solid confidence in SSL.
If you entered Hexo at a good SP, you are happy with the SP, especially if you did a few swings in June 2020, November 2020 and Jan/Feb 2021. You are also really happy with all the progress the company has done in 2020 and continue to do in 2021
For my long position, I keep it there because of SSL's plan, if he gets out, I might take back my investment.
I really believe in the guy and thinking outside the box is what I want for a leader.
