FeV prices jump but not V2O5’s. V2O5 prices remain firm but they haven’t jumped yet since December (see excerpt below). Largo is definitely not a big FeV player at all as our main product is V2O5. When one of our customers wants to buy FeV from us we pay one of the local FeV producers to convert our V2O5 to FeV so we can sell/ship it to the customer. That’s why we have a low profit margin from selling FeV, thus the plan to build our own FeV plant in the future. Anyway, let’s wait until the production NR to see.

“Ferro-vanadium prices were assessed today at $34-35/kg duty paid Rotterdam, up by around 5.3pc since the start of the year when they stood at $32.50-33/kg. Vanadium pentoxide flake prices have also edged up this week to $8.35-9.00/lb, having previously held firm at $8-9/lb since 9 December”

FYI: As of today (Friday Jan 14) FeV prices are at $34-37/kg.
