How much time did you waste worrying about Xebec last week?
How much time did you waste worrying about Xebec last week? How much hand-wringing and worrying if something's wrong occupied your time last week, watching Xebec's ups and downs from one day to the next?
Was it worth it?
Did it help?
I can tell you it wasn't, and it didn't accomplish one iota of anything for you.
But you did it anyway.
In the end, the stock was down 8 cents over the course of the week.
3.55%.
Big deal.
You lost 80 bucks on paper last week for every thousand shares you own.
Hardly surprising given the market.
Many others, including several within this very sector, did far far worse.
Xebec will have to recover 3.68% from Friday's close to completely recover all of the "damage" from last week, and to make last week's trading 100% redundant.
It could do that in an opening gap, news or not.
In fact, there were twelve occasions in the 4th quarter when Xebec was up more than 3.7% in one day.
There were four days it was up more than 10%.
You just don't remember them.
There are some here that really don't get that this is bouncing along the bottom.
It's at book value and its revenues are growing 100%.
Between October 27th and November 4th, when Xebec rallied from $2.66 to $4.01 in 6 sessions, there were lots of people kicking themselves thinking " I knew anything under $3 was a steal! "
Now at $2.30, they won't touch it.
This is part of the psychology that prevents tremendous investing success.
Some people here have to wake up and realize that even if they stop watching the stock, it will continue to trade tomorrow, and the day after that and the day after that.
Xebec will still be a going concern when you're long gone, and it won't have shrunk by then.
The last quarter didn't produce a ton of news, but what it did produce can hardly be construed as negative.
Here are the quarter's headlines: Xebec Announces BGX Biostream(TM) Orders from Brightmark and Chevron
Xebec Receives EU Research Grant to Design and Build 1 MW Electrolyser System for Production of Sustainable Liquid Fuels
Xebec Acquires Colorado-based UECompression to Establish North America's Leading Renewable Natural Gas and Hydrogen Manufacturing Facility
Xebec Announces Q3 2021 Financial Results
The point is that it all boils down to a simple question.
Either you believe in Xebec or you don't.
If you don't, and you're full of angst questioning your judgment, you should consider whether you should continue to hold it, or finally sell, forget it ever happened, and at least have some peace of mind.
It's time to be decisive once and for all.
If you believe in it, or are in the former group and have decided to hold it, then do just that and let the story play out.
Just stop worrying about it.
At this price, worrying is a complete waste of time.
Besides, worrying about it is going to do you no good at all.
It accomplishes absolutely nothing to your benefit.
