RE:RE:Am I Nuts?givemeabreak1
Your handle suggests you need some help, I see your reading my posts so all is not lost. You are somewhat astute my friend as you remembered that I am retired, I call you my friend as it seems your concerned about my mental health, calling me stupid. However I think you are confused, at my age filling my RRIF with a high risk stock would be foley...true we are talking about TFSA's not RRIF's or in your case probably a RRSP. TFSA's are best used for trading stocks to avoid capital gains and maybe used for withdrawals at any time that can later be replaced with conditions. In 2022 the government allowed everyone to make a $6000. contribution to their TFSA's ...which I did...putting (in kind) 63000 RK valued at $5985. (.095 per share) into my account that also contains other investments. As you are concerned, I will tell you I hold significantly more than 63000 shares of RK, but in total is a small percentage of my net worth. Yes your TFSA's are bigger than mine (even with my withdrawals and additions) ....you must be a short person...I'm over 6 feet! Your continuous negative comments seem to suggest that you've lost money here but FOMO has kept you coming back. My young friend stay healthy and be patient....good honest people create value.
