FeV vs V2O5 in steel production

FeV vs V2O5 in steel productionkha or other, I was surprised to see so much of LGO 2021 1st 3 quarter use and income was from the sale of FeV. This probably has a simple answer, but can you or someone explain to me whether flake or powder V2O5 is added directly to steel (Fe +C), 1 pound/tonne, or is it FeV that is required to be added in the same amount for all the combined alloy enhancements? For me, this brings up all the issues of LGO announcement, now on Covid-19 hold, of moving to FeV in-house production, and all aspects including iron ore procurement and end user product delivery would be dealt with? I think I need a lesson in metallurgy.
