Omai Gold Mines Corp. is a Canada-based exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and development of mineral properties. It holds a 100% interest in the Omai prospecting license that includes the past producing Omai Gold Mine in Guyana, and a 100% interest in the adjoining Eastern Flats Mining Permits. The Omai property is located within the prolific Guiana greenstone belt in Guyana, located on the north coast of South America. The Omai property consists of one 4,590-acre prospecting license granted directly from the government and held 100% by Omai Gold’s wholly owned subsidiary Avalon Gold Exploration Inc. (Guyana), and two Mining permits for medium scale operations totaling 1,519 acres are held 100% via a commercial contractual agreement with a Guyanese company.

RE:Silvercorp is firmly behind OMG...That is good that Silvercorp talked about Omai.  Now that I see this video they left enough hints as to why Silvercorp did not invest more and reduced their ownership in Omai (that is rare for strategics to do). The CEO said she is going to focus on new targets. Clearly potential but I think it appears that Wenot is not economic (they did not discuss anything specific other than grade and ounces) and the pivot to all new targets is confirming that Silvercorp is now taking a wait and see position before they sink more money in.  It almost came across as apologizing.......  

I now have to take a wait and see position again the same as the largest shareholder Silvercorp.  If they are on the sidelines before putting more money in who am I to second guess them.  They are sophisticated investors and take each new investments decision seriously and this time they did not invest at 11 cents.  That speaks volumes.
