RE:RE:Leading Energy Company Signs with Blackline Though it's interesting to compare the cost/year/worker, there is much information that is not included in the various PR's.
Which product? Supporting products included? Level of service provided/included? ...and also not to be taken lightly, product support/upselling from the acquisition of Wearable Technologies a little ways back! That one is one that goes under the radar, but not to be neglected. When a client is already purchasing your core product, it's always a good profit to upsell with other inherent products on the side.
So the math is much more complex than illustrated in your example, but it's still interesting to do so.
The great news in all of this is the ramping up of larger contracts and how BLN is selected by large corporations following investigation of the various solutions available to those big corporations!! The level of retention is also a big number to remember in this light.
Perhaps the curve will accelerate substantially in the months/year(s) to come after much investments ...and dilution over the years. The time has come for the company to become profitable, to give a tangible return to many investors who have been onboard for a long time, many of whom took the real risks at the earlier stages!
