Yes, when something comes to a high profile successful conclusion, such as the trials for TLD1433 in bladder cancer, Sherri will receive wide recognition in the science community (more so than she already has), as well as the general population, as being the front runner in the fight against cancer.
The cancer fight has been extremely long and arduous and has had dramatic consequences in human lives. In 2019 this statement was made in The Lancet - " Among adults ages 35 to 70, cardiovascular disease still ranks as the leading cause of death globally, but the new research,
published in the journal The Lancet on Tuesday,
found that deaths from cancer are now more common than those from cardiovascular disease in some high-income and middle-income countries.
There are few people that are not touched by cancer in one way or another.
