RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:It 'SEEMS' SU NEEDS TO HIRE Talented MECHANICAL Engineers !!I have worked in both of those plants (Syncrude and Suncor) and believe me , a broken chain in extraction is minor and impossible to perdict . Under normal conditions , its an easy fix but as I said before , nothing is easy at -40C . The talking heads are making a mountain out of a mole hill .

Millions are spent on inspections to catch wear patterns (erosion/corrosion) and replace those items before a failure occurs . The size and scale of those plants are the biggest I've ever seen , they are truly cash generating machines that can operate for decades to come .
