@MidtownGuy So I took a look at IIROC’s short sale trading activity (not the short positions, but the trade volumes), for Jan 1 to Jan 15. Some interesting info in there.

Of the approximately 3,220 Canadian equities tracked across all Canadian exchanges:

- 150 equities had between 30% and 39% of their trade volume as short sales

- 40 equities had between 39.5% and 44.9% of their trade volume as short sales

- 16 equities had between 45% and 49.9% of their trade volume as short sales (PYR is in this group)

- 14 equities had over 50% of their trade volume as short sales

Pyrogenesis, at 47.58% of all trade volume being short, was the 17th most shorted stock by volume during the period, out of more than 3200 tradeable equities.
