RE:lucrative business1/2full, no doubt that ITS companies like Iteris and Rekor, who are principally in the smart city segment have a less clear road map to profitability than a software-based tolling and commercial vehicle enforcement ITS company like QTRH. In my view, as long as the public policy focus remains on "green" profitability will follow. They are collecting a lot of data which will ultimately be monetized, however, their business model will need to be both fluid and flexible to succeed.
