RE:RE:RE:a view on SA ..Don't mean to laugh at other peoples dilemmas but must say I had to giggle about that.. just like the folks in Alberta with their EV's not being able to produce enough heat to get past minus 12 C inside his vehicle when temps were -35.. no thanks.. I'll let my ICE run until the inside temp is warm enough to drive in a tee shirt when its -35 C. Oldnagger wrote: Just, an anecdotal tale. While picking up some take-out I noticed a fellow with A Nissan Leaf, parked by a charging station and trying to brush snow off the charging plug . Seems some one had left it in the snow and it was no longer working. Worse, the car owner did not know if it was the charging station or his car. While he was desperately waiting in the cold, I tried to think of some way I could help, but I couldn't. Finally I said why don't you call a phone no on the charging station . This he did but no answer (The station had been provided by the Gov't of Ontario ) So sadly, I figured I had no other choice but to leave him to his dilemma.Which I presume will be a sizeable towing charge !!
