Its true EVs struggle to heat when -35, but you know what? they don't need to start, or warm up. They just boot up like a cell phone. I have to admit Jan and Feb are a bit of a struggle for my ev with gas backup and it uses a about 30-50% more energy when very cold. But the other 10 months of the year it is FAR better then a gasoline car.
