SIR Royalty Income Fund (the Fund) holds investment in SIR Corp (SIR). The Funds' investment, SIR is engaged in the business of owning and operating full-service restaurants in Canada. SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill, Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, and Canyon Creek Chop House, signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Reds Square One, and The Loose Moose, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership. The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership.

RE:RE:RE:We're back!Someone has brilliantly described the teasing by Ford and Elliott of a pending announcement over the last 2 or 3 days as the 'Dance of the Seven Veils" - entertaining but a heck of a way of making public policy.  I don't even want to think of Doug bellydancing, but the reality is that all they've done is removed the veil that they've only just put on.  It's more like the hokey-cokey actually - in/out/in/out/shake it all about.

The trouble is that all of the alternatives to Ford are worse.

At least they can cover some costs, keep the supply chain greased and retain staff which is already a tough situation. Knee jerk reaction and I will remember this in June when we get to vote.
