Sit back, breathe deeply and relax... all is good.

Sit back, breathe deeply and relax... all is good. The EIS information has been submitted and the Govt. of NL approval will come to pass!

The NL and Lab. mining industry records indicate that more than 100 000 mineral claims were staked in 2021, second only to 1995, and it was the largest # ever staked on the island portion of the province.

The province's mineral industry will be a key economic driver for the province. The activity that occurred in 2021 is projected to result in over $6.5 billion in mineral shipments, $82 million in exploration expenditures, and employment of approximately 7,900 person years. Depending on future finds and mine developments, this could be significantly higher.

Maybe the powers to be were initially lax in their gathering and submission of the necessary and appropriate information in a timely manner, but as I indicated before,
this is not the first time that a lake, river, bog or wildlife track has been involved when filing for an environmental permit. Other mines have been developed and built in NL... so will Marathon.

These exploration companies and mine operators are located in rural areas of NL and will create opportunities for local businesses and increase the ability to invest in programs, infrastructure, education and health care.

With hundreds of jobs and the livelihood of several communities in central NL at stake, this mine will get built... if not by Marathon, then by whomever acquires the property.

Sit back, breathe deeply and relax... all is good. If you can't do that, there is an alternative... sell your shares and move on!
