RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:a view on SA ..

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:a view on SA ..Don't be so naieve.. they'll boost those electicity rates at the drop of a hat when they want more tax dollars or profits.. not to mention system upgrades that will be neccessary.. My ice vehicle will warm up in less than 20 minutes, hardly what I'd call "ages" LOL.. solar panels will help, but they're not exactly free are they..! $15-$25,000 bucks to outfit your home with solar panels buys a lot of gas.. then there's maintainance of those panels on top of that..  road taxes are already being introduced in many jurisdictions.. why should EV's (which weigh more and are more damaging to the roads) be allowed to wear out the roads, without any compensation to the dept of hwys.. the gov't isn't going to let that cash grab get away..! By the way I can replace my battery for $150 bucks... never had a problem starting it yet.. just plug it in.. it does come with a block heater.. LOL..! So tell me exactly how does your Tesla warm up the interior without using energy when it's -35C? Hope you have a CAA membership.. the one with all the benefits and long tow distances..  LOL..

I am not sure what car that person was drivng so I can't comment. At -35, you would have to run your gas car ffor ages to warm it up. IF it will start. Is your battery a bit old, oh oh.. Road use taxes won't come for quite a while.
