RE:RE:RE:Can this happen to EV&TMAS?Not all mines are the same, likely none are. Jadar has jadarite a mineral found no place else other than Serbia. Jadarite is an amalgamation of Li, B and a few other things. These elements are locked up in the rock. RT has spent years and $M to know how to technically and economically separate the Li&B. RT came up with a multi-step process, but they have been very quiet on how Jadar can be environmentally sound. I believe the region Jadar resides in is quite agricultural and the population believes (probably accurately) that mining will destroy the area. The general population has picked up on this and sensing this could cost the government at the next election in April, it has sided with the protesters. RT could sue the government over their decision (sounds familiar?).

Piskanja, on the other hand contains largely only borates and can be mined, crushed, bagged & shipped quite easily and economically. Plus, the area has a long mining tradition and the miners' health will actually improve switching from coal to borates.

There is more, but I will leave it at that.
JMO
