Yep. To big distributors, BC is just a very small fish in a very big pond, and the other fish in the pond are easier to sell, are their own products, are proven over time, and probably net them a better margin. Carrying BC for big distributors is not a commercial opportunity, it's passively hedging a bet so that their competitors don't have something in their catalogue that they themselves don't. Some of you have probably read this on the other board:
@metallica12 So...I did something today. Called up one of their steelcase distributors in Toronto (905 479-1123) and spoke to an agent named Kimberly, and she didn't know about Biocloud. I literally had to tell her to google steelcase+biocloud and she was shocked it even existed. "She was like why isn't this everywhere?" Not to mix metaphors but this is the type of basket that Ghezzi has put all of his eggs into. He could have been advertising and selling this for a year, banging the drum and making some noise, but nope, not for Undertaker Paul, no onesies and twosies for snobby KNR. Meanwhile the distributors have put the BC basket in their storage closet where it gathers dust, and if someone calls to enquire about it, maybe the staffer will know about it, and maybe the staffer won't. Who cares? It's not their proprietary product, it's just a dusty hedge, just some catalogue filler.
