Testing for travelers My wife and I just got back from a week in Mexico. Had to take a deep nasal pcr test there ($90.00 USD) each and upon return to Toronto, we were selected for a inner nasal pcr test. There were signs everywhere that travelers may be subject to random pcr testing. Well, it wasn't random, I would say of the 97 passengers, about 80-85% were selected, not random at all. With dozens of international flights arriving daily, the testing will not be going away any time soon. Ironically, when standing in the cattle line for the pcr test at Toronto, there was no social distancing, everyone was shoulder to shoulder. In Mexico there was probably 600-700 people crammed into a small room at immigration, again many cattle lines. If some think that covid is coming to an end and that testing will become a thing of the past I would suggest you take an international flight, see if that changes your perspective. Testing is here to stay imo for many more years, especially at home testing like thrm is promoting. Ok, time for a Marguerita :)
