I liked the support at $4.25 and I noticed several other stocks finished above "round numbers" or support levels . I have seen too many of these ups and downs to get rattled considering we are sitting on a cash machine .
Once again the baby got chucked out with the bath water , the tub , the sink and the contents of the bathroom . I can't see smart money ignoring these valuations with WTI at $85 so Monday afternoon will be very interesting . Leaving an open short over the weekend with war immenent in the Ukraine could be a disaster . I would bet there's a lot of nail biting going on this weekend .
Until the media start to seriously report the supply crunch we are heading for and ignore "woke" pressure to kneecap sentiment , Toronto will continue to manipulate this sector purely because they can . This land of sheep called Canada concerns me , when did people stop thinking for themselves ?
have people every really thought for themselves? I think it's a small percentage of people that analyze an issue and form an educated thought. The majority have their opinions framed by media headlines. The concern for us as oil investors is media headlines trumping analysis of the oil market
Yes JohnnyDoe , when I went to school we were encouraged to ask "intelligent" questions . Most schools had a debate club , now it wasn't the coolest club to be in but it made you look at both sides of every subject (pro or con) . For those of us who couldn't throw a 45 yd pass or score 150 goals/season it was first stage training to be a lawyer . Since I broke the law more often than not I chose a different bar to specialize in .
The point is , today's bubble wrapped babies are too delicate to every get into a healthy debate without someone being offended or feeling bullied . I watch with great interest as that generation tries to give away everything we have worked for .
