RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Monday morning haltLagger, I think you may be misreading my comment. It is time for QTRH to move on from IP licensing. They have pursued an excellent litigation strategy against Apple. Apple has effectively run out of delay options (they may chose to use a couple of minor ones, but if they do, QTRH would simply fold the Apple litlgation into the Wilan divestiture deal, imo). The court will set the value/award for infringing the Stanwood VoIP patents. This in turn will establish a value for Apple (and others) on non adjudicated products. Additionally, it will provide a more concrete valuation on other Wilan-partner IP.
As much as it pains to admit, our old friend, Charm7, had it right that the IP licensing business was better suited to being private; he just didn't have the timing right. Now is the time because Apple is the catalyst. There will be interest in Wilan and the court will impose a value for QTRH on the Apple litigation.
QTRH has made a strategic decision to focus exclusively on ITS. Individual investor will need to assess if that is a sector in which they choose to participate.
