RE:Question to the boardTrevali's 43-101s are available on Sedar. The last published NPV for Perkoa, published on April 12, 2018, was $188 million, using a zinc price of $1.20. The last published NPV for Caribou, published on May 31, 2018, was $88 million, using a zinc price of $1.21. Both studies used an 8% discount rate. Subsequent to those dates mining has taken place and additional reserves deliniated. The company said a new 43-101 will be published in the first half of 2022, for the Bathurst Mining Camp, incorporating the new ROL technology ("The PEA will correspondingly include the Caribou Mine, Caribou tailings, and the Halfmile, Stratmat and Restigouche deposits").
The new Bathust Mining Camp 43-101 could make interesting reading and provide an updated valuation that takes into consideration the potential for new treatment technology. The current Caribou milling process does not recover copper and gold. If the new technology recovers these metals, shareholder might have a pleasant surprise.
