RE:RE:RE:Hey Boys & Girls Post in EnglishHey July.
Hope all is well in your camp.
I'm just tired of using Google to translate. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I just want to be able to follow the threads of posters thinking. I even get some media links here which aren't translatable by Google on La Presse and others. I just want to get the posters thinking whithout having to translate all these posts that's all.
cheers

I come from an environment where when four people were talking together (3 french and 1 english) we were all speaking english. Which at the beginning could sound unfair. But on the long run, who gain benefits ? I let you decide :)
However, I feel more comfortable to express myself in french (mother tongue) when a topic is driving me emotionally. In this case, however, I will copy my text using Google Translate before I post it just to see if the english version reflects my thoughts. On this forum, I also avoid using accents in my french text to avoid losing parts...
The most important is to be able to express yourself and try to make sure your points are well understood by most of the audience.
If I could add also, I noticed that since last year, posters (english and french) are more and more careful with their grammar and this is really appreciated as it is easier to read (and translate as need be).
Have a good day everyone (despite the market :(
