RE:RE:RE:Embark HealthWhen is the lease due?
If a new owner purchases the property they have three options.
1. Run the term of the lease and ask them to leave.
2. Terminate the lease with cause. i.e. they are moving in.
3. Negotiate a new lease term.
The other aspect is who owns the building? This I have not looked into but almost always the building and land is owned by one of the principal investors of the company and then leased back to the company because they can write off expenses, inflate lease payments, have the company pay for all the upgrades to the facility and pay down the principal on the property through the company.
i.e. Naturo Investments and Bevcanna Enterprises
Remember how much Bevcanna paid upfront for the lease agreement with Naturo, how much they were paying (per year with no production) for over two years in payments, how many millions of dollars Bevcanna shareholders invested into Naturo's property, and then once completed, sell the overvalued assets to Bevcanna.
Sound fimilar.
Look into the vast majority of these companies and their land/building assets and this is what you will find.
Selling the building can have everything to do with the company moving forward.
