I guess there's no need for a test drive if autonomous. However you might like to get inside and play with the gadgetry but I imagine that can all be done, including the drive, just by donning headgear in salesman's office. Not for me but it's an entirely new generation now. Old ways are out to lunch. People shop online for all kinds of stuff they've never seen or used in person because they don't go into stores. Why should cars be any different?
