RE:Fights Climate Change Legault Sabotaging Quebec Natural Gas

RE:Fights Climate Change Legault Sabotaging Quebec Natural GasThe authors argue that the German government has made a clear cut choice for LNG. And they point to the Canada Germany Workshop on LNG that happened today. But the German government has NOT made a clear choice- it talks out of both sides of its mouth, even more now that the Greens hold the Ministry in charge of assistance decisions.

And there is certainly no agreement that LNG helps in the battle against climate change. This is why the German governments says nice things about LNG, but is afraid to offer the kind of straight up billion euro grants (not just loans) needed to get these projects off the ground. The previous German government would not take that step. And now the Greens are in the government. Bets?

The Canadian government is very similar: they want exports from Easten Canada- but do they want it enough to pony up billions of dollars investments that private industry will not do?
