RE:Hard to say, but all the noise is confusing...The short answer is we go up. Zoom out to a 5-year price chart, factor in a rising commodity price environment and it's really pretty simple.

Beyond that, it depends on your investor profile, objectives and time horizon. I'm nicely up on this name but won't even consider looking at a rebalancing plan until at least mid-to-late 2023. In the meantime, I get 50% upside potential and a 3% (and rising) dividend from a company that's actively reducing its share float and debt. This is a very solid backdrop, so again it's really quite simple.

There are swing traders, shorters and (from what I can tell) some armchair quarterbacks on here that I guess missed out on their chance to run a major E&P, which is completely fine. This wouldn't be my first pick for a short or a day trade, but it's a highly compelling, long-term hold with a strong balance sheet. The rest is, as you have said, noise.
