I think it's still in effect, on the TSX, but it really doesn't matter whether it is or not, especially with computer trading. The short seller's algorithm simply buys a board lot at the ask, then continues to dump... rinse/repeat. The house always has an advantage, and they ain't going to give it up anytime soon. GLTA.
