Given that Biden won this state by a good margin in 2020, perhaps their initiatives will pave the way for others to follow suit and give the Dems another reason to put their own legalisation legislation in place sooner rather than later. Oregon is also adding another electoral college vote in 2024 that could be vital in the final count of 270 to win.
