RE:RE:We are so LuckyI threw in the towel last year reducing my KL holdings by 90% after the votes were counted. Ended up losing close to 25% on this company. Still have no idea how this happened really. Thankfully I've more than made up my losses with the redirected funds but it still costed me quite a bit in terms of opportunity costs since I held it for over a year when it sputtered after hitting $70, but I had hope since we had no debt and kept making record profits. Then this merger came around the corner and really sank the ship. Will keep the last bit of shares just to see if anything happens but I don't really expect much. It will no longer be a debt-free, focused high quality gold company that drew me in and will now be another run of the mill gold company with varying quality of assets with along with debt.

Same situation with GBR, I don't want K shares so have been selling in some acccounts. So the due diligence starts over again to buy companies with exploration upside.
