RE:for all you youngsters out there

RE:for all you youngsters out thereYes I have made plenty of blunders along the way. Hilton petroleum, Mobile Knowledge, Royalstar Resources, Emerald lake resources are some of the duds I can remember. But there were more winners that are just as clear in my memory. Systems Excellance that went on to become Catamaran, GLV, Consolidated Thompson and many more. Remember Zebec is still close to one of my top holdings and I hate to say how many i have but even though it was one of the worst performers on the TSX last year I still ended up with an over 50% return. I am probably making another blunder now as I keep all RRSP's LIRA's TFSA's and Trading with basically the same portfolio and weightings in all of them. Kind of like my own mutual fund across all accounts. Yes I know the U.S. dividends in my tax free  are taxed with no credit and also the dividends in the trading accounts boost my net income but it makes it easier to manage than weighting one account to growth and one to income and then trying to balance an acceptable risk and return. So basically all my accounts reflect almost that same performance maybe a little less as the U.S. stocks are more income generators than growth.
