RE:theres no absolute freedom Well said.
For some unknown reason, they think they should get special treatment. Ummm, Hell no. You don't want to get vaccinated? Fine. You live with the consequences, both medical AND social. This whole "my rights" bit has gone way too far. Goverments, while far from perfect, operate on a model of the "collective good". It's why, for example, we pay taxes...we each contribute to the collective good and play our part. Do we like it? No. But we understand the need, and the need for the government to make the best decisions for all. Trudeau was right calling these people the "fringe". It is what it is, and they certainly do NOT speak for the VAST majority of Canadians.
Perhaps these lame-azz truckers who are not vaccinated, instead of protesting, could spend time delivering our goods? Oh, wait. You have to quarantine. Well guess what boys and girls. You are no more special than the rest of us. We ALL live by the same rules...back to that "collective good" idea.
To these protesters, and to all the anti-vaxxers, you made your choice fully knowing the consequences of your personal decision. Now suck it up, stop whining, and get on with your ostracized existance while the rest of us move forward in far more positive ways for both our personal and collective good.
