RE:RE:Perfect BallI think you are painting with too broad of a brush in saying there will be no new mines in the US or Mexico. Similar to the real estate market, it is "all local". Mines may be verboten in California but openly welcomed in say Nevada.
Silver will be so much more lucrative in the future and Mexico is sitting on the mother lode of silver, so they will have every financial interest to encourage mining, even if some of the extra proceeds get shared with the land owners.
However, I get the jist of your post: The Yukon is starting to look like a much more desirable jurisdiction vis-s-vis some of the other locales around the globe.
