Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:RE:One thing to understand at this time of year.Let me dumb it down for you. People invested in Mr. Nuttal,s fund can elect to take  their money out. If  more  people take money  out  rather tnan put new  money in, he has  to  sell one or more securities such as Surge to raise the cash to pay them.  2   reasons  to take  money out  are if you are a non believe in the future of  the oil and gas industry  for whatever reason  or  you  believe the  performance of Mr. Nuttal,s fund  is  no  better  than  average long term and  you prefer to invest your money  elsewhere  .    At   some  universities  some students  have protested that endowment  funds   have  been  invested  in the  oil and gas industry and  they  want  that to cease and  the powers that be  are reacting   to  that. Not  long ago  a fund controlled by the Norweigian  govt.  said   they  would  sell all  their   shares  in Canadian oil and gas  companies
over time.
