The Company operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Galane Gold Mines Ltd., two assets: a producing gold mine which also has the rights to certain mineral exploration tenements (the mine and mineral exploration tenements collectively, the Galaxy Property) located in the Republic of South Africa (South Africa) through subsidiaries located in South Africa, and a gold and silver mine and processing infrastructure located in the United States of America (the Summit Property) that is in care and maintenance. The Galaxy gold is situated approximately eight kilometers (km) west of the town of Barberton and 45 km west of the provincial capital of Nelspruit in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The property covers approximately 58.6 square kilometers (km2) is part of the prolific Barberton Greenstone Belt.

Gillis you made me curious so I had to go back and check.

- For the first 3 quarters of 2020, GG made essentially zero profit (the 'normal' situation for this company).
- In the last quarter of 2020, by some fluke they actually made a profit from mining, amounting to $0.017 per share.
- In the first 3 quarters of 2021, they went back to losing money - the small margin from mining did not cover their basic expenses.  However, they were able to record a paper 'profit' of $0.11, solely based on a change in "in fair value of warrants denominated in foreign currency".
- So in the last 7 quarters, they made real money only once.

If that's enough to convince you that the shares are undervalued, then go ahead and buy.
