RE:RE:RE:Someone just bought 600K shares. EOMNothing has changed with the fundamentals of this company from the date of Eric's exit.
I also own his Ninepoint fund NNRG.NE to take advantage of his stickhandling trading moves, and to diversify my midcaps somewhat. Owning Ninepoint doesn't impede my ability to leverage oil stocks either, as TD allows one to margin it 50%, which is the same for almost all others out there.
For me, I felt it to be a good opportunity to take advantage of the downdraft in the wake of his exit announcement to pick up another 200k shares near Friday's close, as well as another 300k in bids Monday that you see within the table below, that didn't get filled. The short term bottom is in, so buy the dip.
Clearly there is still some selling intended as seen on the ask side, but once those have been cleared, I am betting the odds are quite good that the trend will be back to the upside towards past highs. Shortly, ATH will stick out as substantially undervalued compared to others for the reasons we all know, as the energy market continues it's march upwards fueled by an oil price rising to the $90's, earnings season, and the return of capital flooding back into the sector.
