RE:Now Ash has something new to talk aboutWell, this is in line with what they have been doing for the past year or so.
Good news: Windsor property purchase. Why? Commercial industrial values went up believe it or not more than residential. This is a solid asset, which will appreciate in the future and will look good on the books.
Bad news: I don't think they are nowhere close to signing up any contracts. The way I see it, they cash their sweet salaries and bonuses while buying 20k worth of stock throughout the year to boost confidence. They bought this new property and they will drag for the next 6-12 months with R&D, new production lines for the new location and increased costs due to new employment and operational costs.
It makes sense to have a location in ON, to have an established footprint here and try to sign up local businesses. However this is a large space, not sure what they will do with it.
Noticed how Ash is talking about UE market. If they expand to EU, it will be the end. The management can't handle West coast market, do you think even for a second they have the knowledge and expertise to target global markers?
Another thing that has come clear. They keep on talking about US market. They have zero chance to penetrate the market if they don't find a way to get the cost of the pod down. Add import/export tax on top of the expensive pod - they won't be competitive at all considering the cost of the pod at this time.
The longer I own the stock, the more obvious it becomes that there is an underlying problem with the company, execution and above all management. Check out the latest interviews, how confident is Ash? He bombed most of them, and these are paid interviews, with preset questions and all.
