RE:RE:RE:ATB research report on production update

RE:RE:RE:ATB research report on production updateTo test this theory....I need to find an example of a company that has a future reserve adjustment coming and see if they are attacked by shorts as well.

Going to be hard to find as YGR was so unique in having that kind of reserve value with only like 160 wells drilled...

Need to put my thinking cap on...one must exist....other then YGR

kavern23 wrote: I am hoping this could be one of the things the "shorters" were sitting short in YGR for...and that some covered today...hence the volume and relatively stable share price today.

We got lucky and are getting breaks similar to IPO in 2020.

But consider this if you were in the shoes of these animal shorters.

If WTI was 65 bucks right now...and YGR released todays reserve report...shorters would have won alot. It would have been ugly.

YGR would have tanked likely...in a more bearish market 30-40 cents easy....etc....

Why?

Well then our renewal of the debt  210m debt faculty comes into question....that is what the shorts could have been playing on.  I didnt want to post earlier and get attacked by trolls.

Everything is fine for YGR now as this is out of the way and debt is fine amount due to commodoity prices.

But if the shorts would have had this plus low comooidty prices plus our debt level and no west ferrier....well shorts would have made alot of money here.

Since 2019 pretty obvious on the high side for reserves....

I knew the reaction wasn't going to roses this morning, although VOL is was churning good, which I think we need.

Timing on reserve report is unexpected and one cannot help but wonder if they are trying to stave off a takeover, otherwise couldn't newer wells (west ferrier) be added to RR if reported with Q1?

I agree with ATB we should of all seen a techincal revsion lower on reserves. So no biggie for me. Comps still great with peers.

Who needs a history lesson, that part pissed me off, what was needed to be stated was  boe/d on 6 completed wells, whicn brings me back to the question on the timing of the RR. I know some posters put it down as not a takover candidate due to insider holdings, but they only have 18% or something. I looked up company by-laws. +50% vote is all that is required.

I have had it happen far to often, PONY, SRX recently taken out for fractions of real value, both ironically by the devil CNQ. I wouldn't count this out, not CNQ. But, PSK, FRU, WCP. Orlens could by this with the change in their couch.
