RE:Can u turn $ 58,196 into $ 194,046 in Poda in one (1) day??
Yes it is entertaining but that's all it is. First of all, anytime the share price moves up even a little, more sellers come into the market. This thing went to 33 cents today and then just a few sellers came out and it closed at 30 cents today. Even if it shot up in price real quickly, shorters would move in to take a profit and drive the price back down. Not to mention and major increase in price without any material news from the company would probably get the stock halted by the exchange asking for an explanation from the company to pur out a NR.
Second, going along the theme that this is for entertainment purposes, even if such a strategy would work, why does an individual or hedge fund need to do it, why wouldn't PODA do it themselves. Afterall They haver over $10 million dollars in the bank and they did say back in October that they would initiate a NCIB to buyback their own shares because they felt it was undervalued. They felt their price was undervalued when tit was in the 50 range. The price is sitting at 30 cents and as of yet they haven't bought a single share back of their own company in order to cancel those shares.
Ryan says he wants to build a company to rival Big Tobacco and make PODA into a multi-billion dollar company. They need to start executing on marketing, manufactuing and deliveing products to the market to put a dent into the Heat not Burn market. Without partnering with a larger company, on a standalone, this will all take time and therefore a long term hold
